Default ?? G 22 - shooting high ??

I bought a Glock 17, I liked it so much, that I bought a model 22 so I could have a .40 on the same frame and feel. They are both Gen 3. I adjusted the sights to the side on the 17, and it shoots right on for me now.
Now the model 22 was shooting to one side the first two times I shot it (60 rounds). So I moved the sights over to compensate. Seemed over the next 70 rounds, the sights needed to slowly be moved back to where it originally was. Well that seems strange. Does the barrel kinda shift or get seated in against something after the first 100 rounfd?? I've heard people talk about breaking a barrel in on rifles, but never knew or understood what really happens?? Any If you guys tell me I'm crazy, or this is highly unlikely, thats OK, I may buy that. But please don't tell me it's my trigger finger. I paid very close attention to my finger. OK, that isn't a problem anyway right now. It's only got me curious.
Now, the model 22 is shotting about 5 inches high for me at about 60 ft from target. My 17 shoots right on hieght-wise. I'm not any weaker in the wrist than anyone else. I know the .40 cal has more recoil than the 9mm. But 5" high at 60ft?? Whats your guys thoughts?? Is there any way to adjust sight height??

Well since MM got that out of the way. Did you buy the g22 bc you wonted 2 glocks or just bc you wonted a .40 in the same frame? You know you can buy a conversion barrel for a g17 and shoot .40 with it and save some $.

I didn't know that they could swap barrels. I did know there was a couple models of glock, that you could, and 357 sig was a chioce also. However I still would have made the purchase. I'm glad you brought that up though. I was thinking of buying another 17 though. Then one can be kept in a designated place in house for any family member in case of need, and I'll still have my own. When you guys say practice, do you mean practice aiming 5 or 6" low?

Actually, you cannot convert a 9mm to a .40, you can convert a .40 to a 9mm, but not the other way around.

You can turn a 9mm glock into a .357 sig or .40. You can turn a .40 into 9mm or .357. You can turn .357 into 9mm or .40. Oh and you can turn them all into .22lr also.

It is said .357sig and .40 can use the same mags and extractor. But it is advised to use 9mm mags and extractor if turning .357 or .40 into 9mm Or use .40 or .357 extractor if converting from 9mm to .40 or .357.
The .22lr will come with a new slide

I hope that isn't to confusing.

Actually I thank you can putt a 22 slide on a 17 and it will work that way. I'm sure someone will be along to straighten it all out.

Not that I want to drift from original questions. But correct me if I'm wrong. As far as clips go for the model 17 they make a 10.15, and 33 rounder. And for the model 22, they make a 10, 13. aM I wrong or missing any?
