I carried a Glock 22 when i was in the "security" business. I had a friend that turned me on to the Glock. He was in Law enforcement that had the Glock 23 and was very confident that .40 is the way to go.

I have shot many thousands of rounds through my Glock 22 and have NEVER had an issue.

You like your Sr9? If so get a new SR40 for the same money you are looking at for a used Glock

Probably a bad description by the original poster.

I just looked at a few NIB glocks yesterday at the gun store, and they DO have a few dabs of a coppery metallic looking thick paste that is probably some type of anti-seize or lubrication, but it could easily be described as "red grease" if you're thinking "red" in terms of "earth tones rusty red color" and not "cherry" or "blood" red.

Well , you got a .40 . 357 and .45 ? Up around here where I live a new Glock is about $519-$550+. For the price , I don't know of a more dependable hand gun !
