There is no such thing as "knock down power," but .357sig is good, if you can afford to shoot it.

Of course g 17 is the most famous gun in the glock world. In the other hand many soldiers around the world use the g19 like secondary (Iraq,Afghanistan). In my opinion g26 isn't a gun only as backup but we can use it as primary weapon. We have a 9mm gun. The smallest from the 9mm list and the most reliable because it's GLOCK. In my country the concealment carry needs a small gun with large mag and 9mm ammo. In shooting is very good and stable. If you want shoot over 30 m in the country then you need a machine gun....

Nevermind this thread. I did some looking at the shop and put my order in on a Ruger RS1911 instead.

Very good choice. But you have only 9 rounds if i'm correct. On glock (17,19,26,34) you have from 10 rounds to 33. For bigger caliber (.45) the maximum rounds are 17. Before 2 years i had a ruger. Is one of the most "leathal" gun. After 800 rounds about the barrel was cracked. A gunsmith said that I was unlucky. But I afraid them and now i have glock 26.Good luck!!!

I stopped by on my way home from work tonight and talked to the kid there. I'm number 13 on their list and down at their original listed price of $675. I told the kid that he'll get 50 cash if he makes sure I jump to #1 when one comes in which he's saying is expected in about 2 months and my number is now in his cell phone.

In which model Ruger did you suffer a "cracked barrel" ? Other then some issues with the LCR 38spl, Rugers are known to be among the strongest over built tough as a tank guns made. Additionally Ruger will bend over backwards to make their customers happy when the rare issue arises.

FWIW my personal CCW is a Glock model 19 with a Glock +2 base and a 10% spring in & on a Glock mag. As well as one additional same set up magazine in my pocket. If I find myself in a situation where I need more, well to put it politely my situational awareness and tactics need fine tuning.

I carry a SW9GVE on me now and I keep a Taurus Judge in the console of the car or truck. I hate the trigger pull on the S&W. It's stupid hard and the judge isn't a real easy fire arm to tuck on the inside of the hip of your britches. The only other hand gun I have is a Ruger 22/45. The gun safe is now out of room for long guns so I may as well fill the shelves with more hand guns. Where better to start moving up that a 1911. I'll get a Glock after I get the Ruger.

Default Your first glock

I have two Glocks--My first glock a G19; I liked it so much I bought a G26 (smaller, more concealable, a great BUG). Both super firearms--easily to disassemble and clean, totally reliable. You can't go wrong with either choice.
