Why would you even think about trying this???? I don't care if you're new to firearms, it's just common sense!!! I paid good money for all my firearms and I know for damn sure I'm not going to go bury any of my firearms. SMDH.

In all seriousness, did you dunk it in a bucket of water after you buried it?

Take it apart..All the way apart. Clean it..All the way clean it. Stop trying to imitate vids made to make you want the stuff they want you to get.

GLOCKS are firearms... No better or worse than any other poly pistol.

You drank the cool aid... Bought the dream... And now realize your GLOCK has no more "perfection" than you.

Count yourself luck.... Most GLOCK owners turn into full blown fan boys and spend years spouting their dilutions of grandeur about the web. :eek

You learned your error early and will only sound foolish on this post.

Now go buy a gun you actually can bury, dig up, and fire.

It's know as the original 5" Mil Spec M 1911.

John Mosses Browning would not cross the street to piss on Gaston GLOCK even if the silly Austrian bastard was on FIRE!

Tack

seriously, dirt or debris got somewhere it shouldn't have. and also they fail to warn people of the dangers of trying to duplicate these "tests" with guns on YouTube. what if dirt or rocks had obstructed the barrel and it had blown up in your hands or face? so maybe you are lucky it didn't release.
I've got to agree with Axxe 100%. These torture tests are fun to watch but otherwise are ridiculous. My Glocks function fine and if one falls in the dirt I'm gonna clean it before firing unless TSHTF. If your Glock has been reliable until that "test" and after I wouldn't get too worried about it.

i'll bet that if i took all my pistols and threw them on the ground, and covered them up with dirt, then pulled them out, it wouldn't suprise me one bit if all them had a problem due to the dirt.
