Engraving on Glock 19 slide
 

I was bored at work so I decided to bring my Glock 19 slide to work. I wanted to do something different to it so it does not look like every other Glock out there. I programmed Glock's logo and put on top of the slide. I think it looks good.

Out of curiosity, why did you decide to duplicate the logo instead of putting some kind of original design on it? Not knocking your work, it's very nice, but a flame job would have been really cool too.

I too had an interest in the same idea until I called Glock (I have them on speed dial) and talked to their tech person and he advised he would Never do anything to his Glock like that. He told me very simply,"A Glock is a Glock ". I immediately understood what he meant.

But it's no longer owned by GLOCK. There's nothing wrong with putting your own personal touch to anything you own. Hence the ghetto cruisers with humongous transmission trashing wheels.

I like it it reminds me of the logo on the Springfield xdm in the safe I like it. I have always liked to make all my guns and cars my own. Nothing is made perfect till u get to make it your own. Just look at the motorcycle in my shop. That's why I like Yamaha so much they say "make it your own" .

I did not know Glock was sold. Who bought it and when? This news is very upsetting to me.

Glock is still glock. These guys are reading pure rumors. glock themselves said this is just another rumor. Won't ever be sold for now.

What he means by it's not owned by glock anymore is that the buyer of the gun now fully owns the gun to himself as a private owner, not the glock company anymore. Like if I buy a ford truck, ford no longer owns it, I own it.
