No no it of course will fire without the mag i had just heard that it is deemed safe by SA only while the mag is in it, not sure why.

That question/comment was directed at the guy who said you HAVE to have the mag inserted, not you Zombie.

Good advice. Whether you are firing live or dry, your stance, grip, presentation, sight picture, etc. should all be exactly the way you are trying to learn to do it.
