I need some help on this. I own 9mm conversion barrels. I don't use them very often but I've been hearing that it's necessary to change out the extractor on my Glock 23 to prevent any damage to my firearm. Can this happen with moderate use?
I have a lone wolf conversion barrel for my Glock 23 I been using it for a long time never had no problem with the extractor or the firearm but I did hear about this problem before but mine works just fine with the original extractor
The difference between the 9mm rim and the .40 rim are very small. Glock and S&W (Sigma and M&P) design their 9mm/357 Sig/.40 extractors so one part works on all. It saves them money because they have to make and stock fewer different parts.
