MOST auto pistol cartridges headpsace off the case mouth. They are sensitive to case length, as well as diameter. As said, you cannot run .45 GAP and .40 out of the same barrel.

Me personally I would rather buy the 10 mm just because I don't want to break down my glock every time I want to shoot a different caliber
