Can anyone tell me if these ports actually do the job they say ? In other words , does it really control rapid fire all that much?
I was under the impression at least with the 357 sig round because it is such a hot load those ports are justified , but could it also cause cracking , I know a little off subject but the sig round is a "super 9" and can cause lots of problems without the ports right? Not sure about the GAP round , could be a an in between (40 and 45 ) which would mean another super hot load, I dont know though maybe you that know more can explain this to me and exactly what the compensator ports really do!
Can't really say as I haven't fired a comp'd Glock but have heard it does help keep the muzzle down. Makes sense too. The down side though is you get more flash which could be bad in low light.
I'd try to fire one before buying in to it. For the average shooter it's not worth the bother I bet. You don't need it for the 357 Sig.
