Buying decision on G17

A friend has approached me on purchasing his used (200 rounds) G17 GEN4 for. $400.00. Price seems fair to me, any forum members want to back this up? Give me your .02 please !

A very good price IMO. Specially it only fired for 200 rounds only.

That's a very fair price (on your part).

That would be a dang good buy. I'd jump on that

I never pay more than 55 cents on a dollar. There very common which drives the price down a little. Just bought a 1st Gen 19 yesterday lnib for $225. I think a lot of the price you pay for all firearms depends on what state you live in. Different gun laws and such. I bought a used Mossberg 500 for bird season and paid $135. I see what they go for on GB & what people pay for on forums & it makes me cringe.

Thanks for the advise guys, offered him $350 and it's in my possession now. Looking forward to range report !

More advice, if he's a true friend and you want to keep him as a friend then give him the extra $50. Sounds like he was desperate and the gun is well worth $400.
