Default Break-in Period

Is there a break in period for a Glock 23 Gen 4 in terms of rounds? If so I have 3 questions.
1. What is the round count?
2. What should or should not be done during this time?
3. What should be done after this time period?
I guess my questions are geared towards preventive maintenance.

No real break in or special maintenance other than what's in your manual. Or specific round count but you do want to make sure the gun is reliable before you bet your life on it. Test all ammo and magazines you plan to use. I'd sure want it to fire at least 200 rounds with no malfunctions.

The biggest issue with assembling an AR isn't so much getting the parts together right - it's getting the right parts together. You'll remember the quality of a gun long after you forget how much you paid for it.

Clean it, shoot it, clean it again. Now it's broken in. The biggest mistake with Glocks is applying too much gun oil.

The 2nd Amendment was, and still is intended to protect the individual citizen from Tyranny. Whether that Tyranny originates from
our own Government, common criminals, Progressive Liberalism, or foreign invaders, is irrelevant.
