Default Best SD/HD ammo help?!?

What do you guys think would be the best self and home defense ammo for a glock21 gen 4? I know .45 is much more than you need for home defense but I would rather keep some as a backup to my 9xdm that I have hornady crit defense loaded in it. The glock would be my back up on my side. Plus I shoot better with the .45. Thanks guys.

Thnx guys. I'll probably pick some more crit def up for the 45 and see if they r as good in it as the 9. Plus thinking about trying some federal hst if I could find them anywhere. And Speer gold dot.
