Also, when I was singing this same tune on another thread because I "didn't want to keep up with multiple calibers," someone remarked, "Get used to it." It was good advice.

Sometimes one caliber does not meet every need...in fact for sure that is the case. I love .45acp. But I also have BUG's in .38spl and .380acp.

Why does it go from great(9mm) to okay(.40 cal.) and then breakdown with the .45?

You can get basically the same sizes in my line up, in all 3 of those calibers.

Well, Glock 23 to Glock 27 to Kahr PM40

in .45 acp could go to

Glock 30 to Glock hmmm... to PM45

I love Kahr, but I don't think I'd want to fire .45acp from the PM platform. Now if they ever came out with a MK45 I'd be there with you. But not yet. And there is no .45acp equivalent to the Glock 26/27. The 30 is bigger in every way, right?

That's all I meant. I'm no hater, I just believe that it is okay to change calibers when you get into the smaller pistols.

I wasn't sticking to just those 2 brands for this scenario.
You could slip the Sig 250 in for the size of the Glock 26/27.

I'm not sure about the PM45 either and the only problem I have at the range with the PM40 is that I have to reload the mags twice as many times.
