Default Assembling glock without striker

Hello. I was wandering is it safe to assemble glock pistol without the striker(for safety reasons)? Thank you in advance.

Don't see what it would hurt except that its spring holds on the slide cover. Don't know that the extractor spring/plunger would hold it on so all that may tumble out. You'd probably want to remove the extractor, firing pin safety, plunger and cover along with the striker assembly (so you don't lose small parts).

Curious, why and how often would you do this?
The biggest issue with assembling an AR isn't so much getting the parts together right - it's getting the right parts together.
