For me 2012 was the year I got into reloading. My timing was impeccable. 2013 was supposed to be the year I was to start loading for my rifles. Guess what? Supplies of dies and components have dried up. I was able to assemble what I need to reload for my M1 carbine but I have not been able to do the same for my 30-30 Marlin or my AR-15 in .223.
I do have everything I need to reload for 357 SIG, 357 Magnum, 9mm Makarov, 45 ACP and 44 magnum. I did not think I would need to reload 9mm Luger but the cheapest ammo I have been able to find is about $18 for a box of 50. I did score some W-296 from my LGS when I could not find it online. I was also able to get some large rifle primers there.
Good luck to you all in finding solutions to the current shortage of ammo.

I bought some more shotgun shells today. I am happy with my stock on those now. Still did not see 9mm in the couple of stores I went in so I just focused on the Shotgun ammo this week.

I did notice today that some of the ammo websites had more 9mm stock this morning. It may be all gone by now but even Cabelas had Winchester and Remington this morning.

I am gonna try and get a bulk order in somewhere in a couple of weeks, once I know its on the way I can get to the range again.

I'm so glad I bought cases before this nonsense started happening.

I saw it coming and stocked up.

I even sold a couple cases this month.
Well one of them was as partial payment on a SIG516 which enabled me to buy that rifle during this bubble

Man this ammo shortage is freaky because both of my LGS continue to have decent stockpiles in most calibers but I'm wondering at what point will they simply run out. They are rationing now, but you can come back the next day and load up again. Hope it stays this way for a while until production kicks into gear to meet demand

I did see one site that had some PRVI Partizan Ammo in 9mm but I have never heard of it before so I dont know if its any good. Would probably be ok for the range though so I may have to give it a try.
The ppu isn't bad, it just seems it just seems to be extra dirty. And I'm the department manager of sporting goods at my local Wally world and I have noticed increase in some of the hard to find calibers. Last night we got in about 2500 rounds of the Federal 9mm bulk, 1500 of the 40, and 1000 of the 45. We even got in some .223, but it was the uber expensive pdx1 stuff
