Okey Doke, If 800 minus 754 is 6 in your world, so be it.

I've worked as a machinist and fabricator for 35 years, and
in MY world 800 minus 754 equals 46.

OK---back to the original question----Can you fire 9mm Browning long in a
9x19 Glock.

No.

Case is .046 longer. Glock would not go into battery.
Rim is .404 . I just measured 3 9mm Glocks, the breechface cut is .394-.395
The 9mm long rim would not fit.

You COULD probably fire 9mm Browning long in a pistol chambered for 38ACP
or 38 Super. Especially if it were an older pistol that headspaced on the
rim. 38ACP, 38 Super and 9mm Browning long are all semi-rimmed, with the
Browning long having a .100 shorter case.

for all yee that dont like the 9x19, its better than .380 and probably as good as9mmbrw lng. only trade off might be cost pr rnd. converting any weapon to another caliber can be prohibitevly spendy int time and dollars and you dont allways get what you expected. you may have unnessasarly runied a good piece.
look int bbl. mfg's that make bbls for your piece see if one is being made in the desired caliber for you model of weapon, if you just want cheap ammo to shoot get a 22.simi auto. and nock yourself out.its just as much fun. as a custom cal. gun. if you do change let me know how it turns out.

The 9mm Browning Long is obsolete.

Just like this 2008 question.
