If your luck is like mine you'll find a nice new 34 any day now then.

It's a really good gun. Fast and precise. I've 'borrowed' a few mags worth of range time from fellow shooters at the range. While I'm generally lukewarm on Glock (I do own a couple), it impressed me enough that a G24 (same gun, 40sw) has been added to my wish list. And when that day comes I'll add a 6" 357sig barrel. I'd imagine 357sig out of a 6"bbl will be a 1600-1700fps tac-driver. Sounds cool to me.

For a longer barrel 9mm I'm liking the XDm 5.25. Wish they offered a 357sig version.

If it makes you feel any better I did finally get the G34 out yesterday and put about 70 rounds through it . It was VERY accurate . I got the sights dialed in for me and stepped back to 20 yards all in a 5" or better grouping . Im sure I will get better with it when the temps arent 7 degrees out

Did--staying away from 45 these days--or have been.
Most likely get back to it when ammo settles down
