Default 3.5lb connector and ligther springs

I've done two trigger jobs replacing the connector and the springs for a lighter set: safety pin spring, firing pin spring and "s" spring.

The trigger does not fully reset forward after a shot or even manual cycling.

Is there a way to adjust this or I got a bad batch of springs?

This happened on a 17 and 19.

I've done in others 17, 19 and 21 without a hitch.

I really don't do anything to the triggers on my guns . I just break some of the sharp edges on the trigger parts , like a (ten-cent job) vs the (25 cent job) .
After about 500-1000 rounds , the trigger is just the way I like it .

Fact is , if it makes you smile , how could it ever be wrong..! I get a delayed smile , something to look forward to..!

Be safe and shoot away......!

PS: sometimes , removing to much material during the polishing can create some weird problems..!

trigger spring. yesterday i left the 3.5lb connector and put back the original springs and it is working ok. i guess the lighter springs prevent the trigger to fully reset forward.

Where did you get the 3.5? Most aftermarket are not good.

Does the anything you replaced advertise that is shortens pre travel or over travel? Some parts (not springs) might not be drop in and give you problems

Normally you put a heaver S spring. Lighter safety plunger spring. And leave the striker spring stock. A lighter striker spring will give you lite primer strikes

Heavier trigger spring lighter striker and firming pin safety springs is what I would do. I don't have problems with light strikes

What brand parts did you use?
I've dropped a couple lighter connectors in and never had issues.

If you used something like the Ghost that requires you to file it to fit to allow proper function of the trigger reset, then you might want to check the instructions on their web site and get the tools and back plate that allow you to make the adjustments.

it is not ghost. i bought from a Glock distributor. the same set of springs and connector works fine on a gen 3 19 and gen 3 21. only having problems on a gen 4 19.
