Default 22lr kit for Glock 19 Conversion Question

I have seen the kit for my Glock 19, I think it has new barrel, magazine and a few internal parts. Has anyone bought one of these kits? I was thinking for plinking this would be great and cheap.

Would it be better to take that $300 dollars and just buy a Walther 22 or Ruger 22 pistol?

Thanks,
Matt

Default Not for the Glock but I have a Kimber 22 RF kit for my

Kimber 45. Wonderful training aid and tons of cheap shooting.
The Ciener kits have been well reviewed.

No reason to buy another gun at all.

I wont buy a conversion kit when I can just as well buy a 22 pistol.

To me I see that as a great excuse to pick up another gun I have shot the Walther P22 and not my favorite but never had any mechanical issues.

Advantage Arms has the hands down best conversion for Glock handguns. I have about 10,000 rounds through one with no problems. Not knocking Ceiner at all as I use theirs in a 1911. Advantage Arms kit is about $250-$275.

One of the best training tools I have ever used...the AA conversion kit works great! Same Glock grip, controls, trigger, etc...but at .22lr cost.

I bought an Advantage Arms conversion kit for my Glock 27. It replaces the complete slide with a new 22 slide. You simply take off the complete stock slide and install the new slide. This kit mimics the Glock in form & function. It is a good way to spend time at the range with my Glock cheaply.
