147 grain in a Glock 19
I had a question to the Glock 19 owners on the forums

How does the G19 fire 147 grain ammo? Has anyone had any feed or eject problems when using a 147 grain bullet?

I ask this because I'm thinking of getting 147 grain Hollow points for my G19 3rd gen, but I've never fired 147 grain out of my G19 before so I'm kinda iffy on buying some.

I would like to hear your stories (good or bad) if you could share with me.

I normally carry 124 grain Gold Dots and they fire flawlessly in my 19, but I would like a bigger bullet now.

I also use the Gold Dots in 124 gr and use American Eagle 124 FMJ for my range ammo (both of which work flawlessly as you say) in my G19 Gen 3 but I have been interested in finding out more about the 147 gr loads.

If you're GLOCK won't work with 147gr bullets, it's broken and you should take it to a GLOCK armorer for an inspection.

You will probably feel different recoil with 147gr bullets, but that's about it.

Just what the Ranger said. Your G19 should eat them like candy.

Personally, I use 115 or 124.

We are issued 124 Golden Saber for duty. :D
