a some what similar situation like this is why there is a hole in the basement floor. jammed Ar15 and me double checking but not triple checking means a slam fire and 5.56 hole in my floor.I'm just glad I always make sure to point in safe direction even when I am by myself. I admit now I am much more strict when I check my rifles.

I will admit to my one A/D due to negligence - basically caused by a brain fart but that was all that was needed to have one land in my kitchen floor. I don't think one will ever happen again due to my fault.

Anyone have a link to the video described above?

All the best,

Thanks for sharing and glad you are well.
When we are rushing, frustrated, fatigued or complacent is when we make the majority of our errors. Thank you for helping us all learn and be reminded that they are ALWAYS loaded. Better then than me.

Maybe the FBI can start helping their Qualified Professional Instructors

to learn how to properly unload ALL weapons. Now with

most auto-loading pistols, you drop the mag, then jack the round

out of the chamber, then inspect the weapon carefully with the

slide locked back to be certain the gun is empty.

But Glocks must be different, somehow ...
