thanks sarge and others for the superb discussion. i would like to add a quote to some of sarges:
- the best weapon is one that is available and you are proficient in using-
at both my girlfriends and mom's homes i placed golf clubs that i got cheap at garage sales in various strategic locations around each home. during a home invasion they could at least bash the bad person with a 9 iron. my girlfriend has a .380 pistol, but what if it is not on her or nearby in the home? there are four golf clubs available in easy to reach locations. i like to carry a pistol and a knife. each situation may be unique. jeff. | |

Hi Helena. So your part of the turds responsible that I need to blame for taking away from us and off the air such entertaining programs like Boston Public and Boston Legal. If I could find a real Denny Crane or Alan Shore, I would sue your ass off!

I to was disapointed/suprised that Boston Legal got cancled, but in keeping with the tittle of the thread, I use to keep a machete in the shower. In case inbody broke in while I was showering. The shower is just not a good place to keep a fire arm. Any body know a good shower rifle? | |

Even though i often carry multiple firearms on a regular basis i never and i mean never leave the house with out some sort of defensive blade. I train will it also to ensure safe handling and technique. __________________

I never leave the house without my Sog Trident. I feel more naked without it than if I forget my watch. That said, I would really hate to have to use it for something besides opening boxes.
