Here's a video of my mom and my daughter shooting a BB gun. I taught them how to line up the sights and basic safety.

In the video, my daughter turns the gun toward me, but even though it's not loaded or pumped you can see the gears turn in her head that she needs to lift the barrel before pointing it at me.

IMO a BB gun is a great trainer.

Many of us guys (me included) cut our teeth on

BB guns, so why not the ladies?

I've got 2 bb/pellet guns which I plan to use as training guns to practice at home between range visits.

Very nice. That's how all three of my girls started out with BB guns, at the time we were in Canada though where they have restrictions on the fps, but they had a lot of fun and I'll tell you it was great bonding time.

BTW I could see those gears churning in her head - you certainly have done something to bring her up right. Congrats!
