My first thought on seeing the story on the Nightly news was how far the instructor was to the side of the girl, almost in front of her. Seems like he should have been experienced enough not to get close to the muzzle with a petite beginner behind the trigger. He should have been behind, helping her hold on to the Uzi.

Look closely at how she held the firearm on single shot.

That is screaming that she has zero experience.

The instructor must not have heard of the little boy in New England who lost control of a Micro Uzi and got a bullet in his head. He lost the use of his life .
The guy made a mistake . People make mistakes . If you didn't know the man personally, it isn't fair to judge him on this one case . Just do what the kids who shoot automatic weapons should do : " Get a grip " .
