Default SCT / Tactical Edged Weapon Course

Tactical Edged Weapon Course

Date - June 5th 2010 0830 to 1600 HRS

Instructor(s) - J. Anadon / P. Deasy

Location - Sac Valley Shooting Center

Course Description

This course will cover some of the basic history and uses of edged weapons, legal overview and basic attacks / defenses of the knife. Students will learn basic strikes, movements and defenses with the edged weapon and will then combine these skills with handgun tactics.

Safety is always our number one concern and although it is not expected that anyone will fall, you must be advised this is a HANDS-ON class and there are NO mats - train how you fight. Please wear clothes suitable for real life training (such as you would to a tactical firearms class like BDU's, jeans ect.)

Needed

SCT will provide all of the training aids for the edged weapon class. Please bring 150 rounds of ammunition, your unloaded handgun, strong side holster, eye and ear protection (sunglasses and / or prescription glasses are suitable).

Price:$160.00 Includes range fees
