Two Day Basic / Intermediate Handgun Course

Date- Sept. 4th and 5th 2010

Location- Sacramento Valley Shooting Center

Needed:

Good attitude!
Handgun (Must be approved by instructor)
800 rounds of ammunition (600 to 800 Rounds)
Three magazines
Magazine pouches
Belt holster (Strong side)
*Pants with cargo pockets*
Hearing protection
Eye protection
Ball cap
Sun screen
Dress accordingly (Class goes rain or shine)
Bring your lunch (We will be eating on the range)
Bring Water

Firearms safety
Firearms familiarization
Equipment
Stance
Master grip
Drawing from holster (5 step)
Sight picture / Alignment
Breathing
Trigger control / Follow through

DAY TWO-

Modified shooting positions (Standing, kneeling and prone)
Emergency / Tactical reloads
Engaging multiple targets / Moving and shooting / Cover / Concealment
