Registration and Banned Firearms:

*Please tell me why anyone would want to register their firearms with the one organization that wants to take them away from us!
.
*Please tell me why anyone would want to allow an Agency to ban any type of firearm that they would use to take away the firearms that we have!
.
*The Second Amendment does not give us the right to keep and bare arms.... it prohibits the government from taking that right away from us.
.
*The "Key Words" from the Second Amendment are not, "Well Regulated Militia" or "the right of the people to keep and bare arms shall not be infringed"....... The "Key Words" from the Second Amendment are: "FREE STATE".
.
Keep this in mind.

Very true and We are trying to get years of anti-gun legislation reversed.

I once heard a story of a man that did not want to take sides in the Civil War (War Between the States). So he decided to put on gray pants and a blue coat to show his solidarity with both North and South.

The South shot at his heart and the North shot at his ass. Moral of this story is: Choose a side or take flack from every side.

My father was a patriot and I miss him a lot (God Rest his Soul). I joined the Army in 1976 but never really took it seriously until I became an NCO.

FYI:

I am an instructor for the NRA (Pistol/Shotgun)
I am an instructor for the Texas Private Security Bureau (Level III)
I am an instructor for the American Red Cross for CPR/AED/First Aid
I am an instructor for the Texas Commission for Fire Protection (Intermediate)
I am an instructor for the Texas Concealed Carry License Program
Currently a Commissioned Professional Firefighter
Currently a License Nurse
Currently an Emergency Medical Technician
Currently a License Amateur Radio Operator
I ride motorcycles and drive 18 wheelers for the local High School Band
Member of the Texas Tactical Police Officer’s Association
Member of the Texas Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Teams.

I use to be military police
I use to be a nurse in the U.S. Army.
I use to be Airborne Rangers.
I use to be an instructor for the NCOES: PLDC, BNCOC, ANCOC
I use to be a Trauma Team Leader in the ER at BAMC in San Antonio

I plan on retiring and opening a pistol/shotgun/rifle range in the Pittsburg, Tx area within the next few months.

Anything else you want to know? Just ask.

A lot of them things ya listed, especially the military ones, I have had the opportunity of doing myself, and participating in others of the same or very similar described positions. Now......how big a boy are ya? ;) :)

Hey, even if only a small percentage of your accomplishments are true you are still one squared away guy.

Welcome aboard. I'm looking forward to more of your posts.

Thank you, Sir.... but the funny thing is that while some may question if I have accomplished but a small percentage of those that I have claimed, the truth is that I have claimed only a small percentage of the accomplishments that I have actually accomplished.

Did I mention the Jungle Operations Training Center when I was with the Airborne Rangers? The truth is... I am old and had a busy life. Mom told me that I could do anything I wanted to do... but she did not know that I would try to do it all.

FYI: My father served in the Navy, Army, and Air Force (and.... I am a "Second Generation Paratrooper).
