I have MAD RESPECT for the OP for posting this.

Sir, you have posted something that is beyond VERY important. I salute you sir, because I do not know if I would have the stones to post pictures of my own flesh if the roles were reversed.

You, Sir, have just become a VERY valuable member of this community and I respect and salute your openess and your honesty.

Clearly you are deemed to never hold an office in our government.

THANK YOU SIR!!

Same respect here for being humble enough to allow others to learn. as bad as the wound is at least it was not fatal to you or your buddy. Prayers being sent that it heals right and quickly.

Maybe this thread should be stickied for all to look at every now and then.

Thanks for what is arguably one of the finest Public Service Announcements ever posted. Things DO happen that simply, and the results, as nasty and painful as yours were, could have been exponentially worse. Hope you heal up quickly and fully, and thanks for posting this.

OUCH!

I hope you heal up well & don't have any lingering issues other than the reminder/scar.

I really like the "loaded chamber indicator" on my XD45, but no, i don't trust it as much as seeing an empty chamber when i ease the slide back a bit.

I agree on the "thanks for posting the warning".

How would have blown up your mother's car? Was the bullet an RPG?
