It was made a sticky in another forum, I just got ridiculed on this one. I was quite shocked with some of the attitudes on here and knowing they have guns too, whew. But to those that supported it, thank you, for those who didn't Life is good

I've been on a few ships. Don't tell a ship's captain that his boat is nice.

I know what a magazine is. I own a crap load of them. I also know what a clip is. I own a bunch of them too. But personally I don't care what people call them. If you call it the "Thingy with the bullets in it" I will not make fun of you.

What makes me mad is when someone thinks that a magazine must be discarded when it is empty and spreads their stupidity to other people. When someone is completely ignorant of a subject they should not be able to decide for other people whether they can have it or not.

I do not understand how these retards keep getting re-elected!

Gee, you wouldn't be talking about a politician from your state now, would you?

Well, while I do understand the difference, as others have said, it just doesnt mean a whole lot.
In 1972 when I went through basic, some of the instructors still referred to M16 mags as clips.
I'm not going to get my panties in a twist over it.

Hope this helps the shooters out there that are not sure the difference between the two.

As I was playing around in Hickok45's youtube site I ran across this video as well, How NOT to shoot a semi-auto pistol. Something similar happened to a friend of mine back in 1979 when I bought my first semi-auto (a .25 Titan F.I.E. for $49.95 at the local department store) when we took it out the first time, but he only got a good cut from it. For the beginners this will save you some skin/pain and for the experienced it should be a little amusing to see what happened to the hotdog.

While I am at it here is a little ditty on the revolver by Hickok45

Where have I seen that range before (on this forum)? Somebody posted pics or vid of them using that range, i'm almost certain.

Probably no hard and fast rule, but ships can make trans-oceanic voyages without making headlines :/.

There are few ships as large as a modern aircraft carrier. Yet, the entire crew including the officers refer to an aircraft carrier as a boat. Any captain that gets upset because you called his ship a boat has issues. He probably has sit up at night with a ruler...
