The rabbit was the target form day one. It was all part of the bucks plan..mmwwaaaahahhahaaaaa!!

WOC..Many times a deer will look to see what made the noise and might not run if they don't see the shooter. Seems weird but it happens a lot.

DJ is correct... any dear hunter "who's honest" enough to admit ever missing a shot will confirm that not only do "missed" deer usually freeze, look around, and go to back to grazing but...

I've often seen "other" deer do the same thing when a member of their heard gets shot. Loud band, loud thwap of the bullet impact, struck deer takes off... or drops dead... and the rest of them just look around and go back to grazing.

Not to smart... but tasty!

The info in the video says he was shooting a 7mm magnum, ouch!
