Sad damn song. Originally by NIN, but Cash's version damn near makes me cry.
Great song. I agree

Its funny, in my time playing Soccer and Rugby I had a broken toe, broke both my ankles (separate incidents) and also had to have a cartilage operation. None of these injuries occurred while playing Rugby, everyone was while playing Soccer.

Rugby is like American football without pads and can be brutal but I never got a serious injury while playing.

Get better soon!
Actually, Rugby is like American Football except apparently running across a field at full speed and clotheslining someone across the throat making them spin 270-degrees is perfectly allowed and legal in Britain where buttering your toast with a knife is illegal! And the guys who play it? Outta there g****n f*****g minds, all.

Get better and listen to the doc. I broke my big toe when stationed in Germany coming down the stairs at work and re-injured at home. Worst case was going on exercise at Langley VA.

Trash bag and tape works great over a case, just watch the hair!

Well I saw the orthopedic surgeon this morning. He said that I had a couple choices. I could have the surgery. They would open it up and put in a steel plate and some screws. But then they would be in there permanently. But he was concerned that there may not be anything to screw it to. He also said that it might heal on its own if I can keep it from moving. So now I am wearing a special sandal to keep it imobilized. They will xray again in 3 weeks and see where we are. If it doesnt heal right they will rebreak it and use the plate and screws. It is funny because I told him that I had grabbed it and straitened it out. He seemed to think that I made it a little better. I think that if I had gone in there with it all turned sideways like it was, things would be different right now.

Hey Rick stop taking my luck it's the only luck I got.:-P It seems like we would or should get hurt when we play the hardest.I think we don't generally because we are more aware of our situation.I broke my big toe at work with a pallet jack one day.Just let it roll right over it with a full load of water on it.However been riding four wheelers, mudding, cliff jumping and a whole bunch of other extra curricular activities where something stupid would be more likely to happen.Anyways hope you feel better try to stay off the hurt toe.And Johnny Cash is the &#/+.
