Thanks for all the well wishes everybody. Doesnt feel to bad this morning. I just have to figure out how to take a shower without getting the cast/splint wet. Then it will be off to work. I was going to work on getting my pool ready today. But I guess I will just supervise now. Everyone probably thought I was crazy yesterday. I was out there working on it while it was snowing.

Ouch! Foot problems are the worst.
I guess everything's been pretty well covered here, so all I can say is, Good Luck.

Oh, and maybe at the hospital you'll get to meet Hellga!

Think of it this way, it's better to hurt yourself in a dumb semi-minor way than in a serious way like it coulda happened riding your motorcycle, off-roading your truck, or shooting

I broke a toe before. Hurt like hell and there was nothing they could do but tape it to the next one.

Its funny, in my time playing Soccer and Rugby I had a broken toe, broke both my ankles (separate incidents) and also had to have a cartilage operation. None of these injuries occurred while playing Rugby, everyone was while playing Soccer.

Rugby is like American football without pads and can be brutal but I never got a serious injury while playing.

Get better soon!

I broke my little toe once; it was crooked. Strangely, I never got around to fixing the other crooked toe.

I wont know until Friday morning when I see a specialist. I am freaking out.
That sucks Rick, Hope it heals quickly.

Sad damn song. Originally by NIN, but Cash's version damn near makes me cry.
That song fit Cash's life extremely well.

Just goes to prove... shooting sports are far safer than "ball" games... any "ball" games.

The pads and helmets give a false sense of security... I pack MANY aches and pains for HS Football Injuries.

At the worst if needed they will put a few little screws and pins in it and it will be all good again, just weather changes will make it ache a little..... trust me I've got like $100,000 worth of legit metal in my body and an unknown amount of some of that **** they call shrapnel.... ha ha ha, but seriously, it shouldn't be too bad for you. It's better you went to the doc, otherwise it would heal all goofy and cause you pain the rest of your life to walk more than likely. Most of the time they just kinda splint it and maybe a little cast tho.
