Default How NOT to handle a hangfire

Almost all of the click-when-it-should-go-bang experiences I've had have turned out to be a dud round. If a person experiences very many of those non-events, he can become complacent about them. The purpose of posting this video is to show that, "Yes, Virginia, there is a hang fire."

Before you look at the attached video, please make sure your inoculations for stupidity are up to date. Don't want any members here to catch anything from this lunatic.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." 2nd Amendment to the Constitution of the United States
Practice does NOT make perfect. Practice makes permanent. Only perfect practice makes perfect.
Generalizations are (almost) always bad.

If that is real, that boy should be immediately neutered to prevent the spread.

I seen this a month or so ago, some people should not have guns and I hope this guy doesn't work around machinery, he will end up killing somebody.

Pure DUMB luck that he did not blow his head off. I agree with Orangello, he needs to be neutered.

I've had one squib load to date. I cleared it by the book, just to avoid such a situation. Dropped the magazine, Kept the gun pointed down range for a minute, then pulled the slide to the rear while still pointing down range.

Have had duds. Same procedure.

Good points to remember.

What did he expect to see down the barrel? It's pretty dark down there without a bore light.

Stupid should hurt. In his case I think it did. Is that burning flesh I smell?

Lucky not to lose both eyes to muzzle flash.

Went thru some Pakistani 303 that was old and poorly stored. Half the rounds had about a 3/4 second delay between click and bang. Gave them a proper burial.

What we have here is... failure- to communicate.
