I'm all for firearms/bows/knive safety courses being taught to young children in masses....When I was young my dad did an ok job....He shot a deer when I was 7 and when he brought it home I asked how it died...he told me that the guns I was so interested in is what killed it....from then on I respected guns.
I know some of you are scared of leftist teachers teaching them....but what about the kids that grow up with leftist parents that are terrified of guns?, they should at least have a chance to make up their own minds instead of listening to EVERYTHING their parents say.
If it was up to my mom I wouldn't be going to school on a shooting scholarship, but I'd be sitting at home going to community college, depressed because I couldn't get a football scholarship.
As long as it is taught by qualified un-biased professionals like officers or military who live and die by the gun...I'm ok with it
