If we are listing these stories, i should add the local one that is most memorable. The local PD did a no-knock on a house but had the wrong address by one house. They scared the bejesus out of the old folks who lived there. When it was done, the PD apologized PROFUSELY and got the geezers a new door. The old folks thanked them for the raid in the end, because the meth cooks one house away disappeared overnight.

We are being survailed at an ever increasing rate. Whats the problem with filming an arrest from your own property?

Ya can't film them from your property. That's illegal.

Yes, they confiscate your property, hold you but the cases I've read or seen never go to court.

Never understood any of the arguments about prohibiting the recording of LEOs...regardless of whether on your property or not. Seems to me that it should be a civic duty to record such incidents to keep the cops on line. Anytime those in power at any level do not want their action known publicly, suspect a rat.

Don't get me wrong...I respect the work law enforcement people do, but that doesn't change the fact it is far too easy for them to abuse their power. A prime example of a police chief abusing his power is Edwards v. City of Goldsboro (http://scholar.google.com/scholar_case?case=8665733338115229248&q=Edwards+v. +City+of+Goldsboro,+178+F.+3d+231+(1999)&hl=en&as_ sdt=2,34&as_vis=1).

Who watches the watchmen? We do.
