Yep! I'll second the motion. The hat is yanked off by someone offscreen by yanking on a thin wire or cord that runs up in the trees and can't be seen in the video. The sound of the racking, hammer dropping, and the shot was added later during editing. Notice how clearly you can hear those sounds- like they were recorded separately in an indoor room? Do you think you'd be able to hear the sound of the trigger click from that distance, in the woods with natural sounds all around, and the shooter blocking? And why would anyone go to the trouble to set a videocam on a tripod just to record himself shoot a couple of bottles on the ground? C'mon guys... Totally fake! (pretty good job though)

It could be a fake. But if it was that is a really bad vid cam and someone must have a spring loaded pulley or something. Even cheaper cell phone vids will show stuff like fishing line on a sunny day most the time. And that hat come off really fast.

I see what you are referring to. You can see a line, or at least what looks like a fishing line of some sort.
Plus this: If someone was going to look down the barrel, they would look down the barrel. But the gun went off 2 milliseconds BEFORE his forehead passed the line of the barrel? That timing would have been too perfect.
