Had a great experience today at my CPL class. Finally! Now I just need to finish the paperwork to complete the process (and pay the $105) and blammo! The NRA instructor said it would take about 2 weeks to get my actual card.
I think it's very cool the card is good for 5 years. Now the big issue is deciding on what CC pistol to buy.

I took my paperwork in today. In 4-10 weeks, I should have my CWP. Fingerprinting sure is different nowadays. It's all electronic! My photo is terrible. All helmet head crazy. Note to self: scissors are not allowed in courthouses. Im an ER nurse, they were trauma shears; even so, not allowed.
Plan to get some range time in. Used to pay $7 an hour for shooting. Now, I can shoot for free thanks to the private range use via the CPL class.
