Look on the NRA website Personal Defense in the home. Good course.

The NRA course is better than nothing, but they do not teach you the proper way to survive a 'close encounter of the worst kind'!!! There course is a good safety and 'marksmanship' course, but not a true self defense course. But if that is all that is available there go for it.

You can find business cards and postings for things of this sort at most ranges around town. Where are you located in PA? I'm in the South Hills of Stiller-Nation.

Just like anything else, it is as good as the instructor.
