I forgot about pepper balls...they're a decent crowd-control device, however, IIRC, they're only available to military/law enforcement

*Edit* Oops, I was wrong about that...but they are certainly cost prohibitive

Tasers are prohibited by citizens in the state of n.j. I heard yesterday about a gun feds have that shoots like a taser to bring someone down, but can fry someone's insides which kills them within a week.

I dunno, I thought it might be cool to own a good paintball gun to keep under my car seat incase a road rager comes after me being that I doubt I can get a carry permit (it's a joke... sortuv). Forget that, I need a real gun.

OH HOLY CRAP. Some times people need to put the the xbox 360 controllers and join the world of the normal people and not people that live on a tv screen.

I think everyone should trade their real killers for markers. That way, no one will die from being shot unless they have a horrendous allergy to paint.

C'mon, this is an entertaining thread. I mentioned Dog the felon that chases felons and acts like he is righteous. That's funny in itself. Multi-leveled humor, people.

you could always freeze the paintballs or try to make your own projectiles. But I would caution you in using a paint marker for self defense, it would probably only cause anger in your attacker. And a trespasser killed or maimed by homemade projectiles wouldn't look good in court. Well you doing anything like that in New Jersey is just asking for trouble. I mean all businesses are required to hang postings stating they do not/and it is illegal to discriminate against homosexuals.

You'd be better off with a pellet gun or .22lr handgun and even then I'd be scared for your safety if someone was hellbent on harming you... Paintballing is fun though!

Freezing is actually a bad choice, it normally results in a very brittle shell, which more-often-than-not results in a break in the barrel, which (at best) totally screws accuracy for follow-up shots
