Default restored Winchester Model 1906

This little plinker was built in 1923, it was purchased by the owner of a feed store in Renton to keep the varmits at bay.
It served its duty for the better part of 50 years and was retired sometime in the mid-to-late 1970's. My Father inherited it from a friend who worked there (he was the truck driver and retired when the store closed).

Anyway, my Father had wanted to restore the gun for awhile. It had several issues (beyond the obvious ugly, worn finish) the magazine tube was falling off and the action was bound up.

You can see the complete write up at my blog: http://tincanbandit.blogspot.com/2013/05/father-son-project.html
