I love my wife too much to put her name on a Glock

It won't have any monetary value to anyone except you, her, or someone else with that name.

I think it's an awesome idea, I know my girl would be tickled pink if I did that for her.

We engrave all sorts of things, My biggest concern would be how you want it engraved, I would think Laser would be a good way to, We have a router and diamond tip engraver, Depending on the finish it could chip as it went along, Where a laser will only burn the finish, However, I don't own a Glock, So I have no real world experience on the finish, I will say the Nitron finish on a Sig is quite a pain to remove.
Best of luck
Have fun

Lets see...engraving her name on a gun that she will in all likelyhood never use, or if used, uses rarely due to the recoil & sound...

...If she ever dies from a gunshot wound, you'd then be the primary suspect for having her name on a gun that wasn't hers...

...If you two ever got divorced, the gun would AUTOMATICALLY be hers...

Its a sweet idea...but could go wrong in SO many ways.

I say go for it. i built guns for each of my children and grandchildren and the serial numbers arre their initials and date of birth. They will have these to pass down and the guns will be special for many reasons.

I have a SW pistol that I bought at a garage sale that was really screwed up, so I stripped it down and engraved the wifes name on the slide in place of the original model name(after removing that) and then rerfinished in pretty colors to make her happy. Always hers and she loves it.
