It will clean off it just takes a little hand polishing with a decent oil. I've done the same thing at the range.

A pencil eraser along with solvent works well for brass or copper marks on the finish, with very little effort.

I use a spent shell casing to tear down my Kel Tecs. Quite often I get the same stain. I wouldn't even be concerned just normal holster wear will get it off. You can use solvents if you feel the need.
