Default How to remove and install the cross pin on checkering tools

I recently purchased both Gunline and Dembart checkering tools. On some I need to install the cross pin that holds the cutter head to the handle. The pins are too tight to press in easily. Is there a trick to this?

In the past people used brads(nails) to hold the heads on.

Default Solved

Evidently there are tools called roll pin holders that are used to set these pins, and a roll pin punch used to drive them. I have a set ordered from Gunline.
