What ever fords told you you count on so your orginal gun smith is yes full of it.

the gunsmith was just looking for a way out of the job. He doesn't want to own a Sigma. The work would cost more than the gun is worth. Every gunsmith has done stuff to cheap guns that the owner didn't pick up. After he gets a box full of guns no one wants he isn't going to let it happen again.

Not to mention we all get burnt out, wading through scores of

bubba'ed guns, which nobody, including the guys who did the

bubba work, wants...

sorry Hoss and to all other mods on here for pulling up old post .. when im in forums sometimes i forget to check dates.. the tom knapp 1 i did as a joke didn't realize i had 2 others ty for the comments on the model 12.
