I have a Beretta 92FS that got saltwater on the barrel during katrina. It has looks new other than one small spot. How can I refinish the barrel to match the rest of the gun?

I always wondered what happened to all the gun shops that were hit by Katrina. Someone should go on a search and rescue for those firearms......I vote for me.

I think the gun shops made it through. When ever I got to my house a week later the gun safes south of me were peeled open. No way the storm did it. Also zero law enforcement around. I am glad I took mine with me even though I had to swim to get two of them back.
