Hi, I am restoring several WWI era 1911s that need the basic lettering done on the slides. Nothing fancy, just a decent recreation of what the factory did 90 years ago. Can anyone recommend a vendor who can do this? If so how much does this type of work generally run? Thanks for your help.

Might head over to http://www.1911forum.com/ and give a looksee there are some darn good 1911 smiths that hang out over there. (Beware that crowd can get a little snotty at times) over all the best place for 1911 info and questions.
