Those do have a capacitor in them which generally lasts little longer than a comparable watch from the same brand with a long life Li Ion battery which can last 8 to 10 years. Replacement of that is more complicated and more expensive with fewer being able to perform that service. If your past 10 years on your watch then I would say your doing pretty good.

Still those are often going to last longer than a watch with a standard type battery. =)

Sales slip is dated 12 Dec. 1999...... suits me.
