* Knife measures 13 1/2 inches long overall.
* 7 3/8-inch blade with index finger notch fabricated from 420c stainless steel.
* Solid brass double-ended guard.
* Specially treated elk antler handle with fancy blue and yellow wooden end cap. Slight curve at end of handle creates perfect grip for lefties or righties.
* Factory-made quality black leather sheath features basket weave design on front. (Handle strap too short for elk antler, but is not needed because long blade fits into deep pouch of sheath.)

How deep does the tang go and how is it secured? For a "fighting" knife I would think that would be quite relevant.
