glow in the dark gun sight tutorial
Here is a small tutorial for the members who purchased the "Option two" thru our website ( glow paint and special self adhesive package).
I used my Keltec PF 9 to show how to remove the material.
A couple of important points:
First:This is my daily carry self defense, I holster it, I carry it in a big pocket, sometimes just inside my belt, the material is intact, for the guys who've asked if it'll endure the abuse the answer is YES, just give it a couple of days before you holster it.
Second: This is a gun sight enhancer, if you can make it work for you this is all you are going to need and it's good for what it is, in the world of glow material this is the thing to get.

Make your own glow-dots with Glow-On, a tutorial
This one is for people who don't like to paint anything or use paint, or are messy using paint, but like to use utility knives or scissors.
Using only the Glow-On self adhesive one can make hundreds of glow dots for a fraction of the cost.
They have to be set permanently with colorless nail polish, and you'll need to purchase a button hole punch for the job, is it easy, you bet it is just watch.
The whole process takes a couple of minutes. No drying period and they are super bright.
Phosphorescent products need some source of light for a brief period to work, like everything else you have to make it work for you, no magic here.

Glow-On vs the competition
We are asked frequently how does Glow-On compare to other phosphorescent pigments.
Here is a brief video comparing two of the best and the most generic against our paint.
A few points:
Our pigment doesn't need a white background to work because is not transparent like the others.
Glow-On glows brighter at a slightly wavelength, a brighter color due to the technology used.
For the same reason glows longer.
Nothing wrong with the other products, they are just designed for a different purpose

glow-dots
The options have changed a bit regarding the self adhesive.
we stopped cutting squares and stripes and added an extra layer of Glow-On to improve the material.
We've found that is more efficient to cut and measure as we go to avoid waste.
If one decides to make glow-dots with all the material it is a lot easier if one has a bigger piece than small strips and squares.
By the way here is a fly by tutorial on how to make dots.
The adhesive is not strong enough to hold since the surface is so small, but a couple of layers of nail polish later and they'll stay in place.
For the hardcore gunner, one can use SUPER GLUE GEL To attach them, they'll still have to be covered with transparent nail polish to protect them from grim and such.
Please keep in mind super glue can get messy in no time, so use the gel type which allows for more working time. If you stick your fingers together, super glue can be removed with nail polish remover.
Something else to keep in mind in the world of glow, BIGGER IS BETTER, so if you can cram big dots on your sights, by all means do, they'll glow longer.
