The latest MaddMacs AR10, LR-308 comp! This compensator incorporates a side ported design to effectively reduce recoil & a single top port to minimize muzzle flip for faster follow up shots with your scoped rifle.
Made from stress proof carbon steel to withstand countless high pressured rounds. This comp incorporates 4 slotted ports cut in the top 1/3 of the diameter. The large chamber where these ports are located allow the gas to expand before exit. The gas then hits a wall reducing felt recoil as the bullet passes through the .35 cal bore where the last remaining gas escapes from the top port minimizing muzzle flip. The crown is deep cut at a 40 degree recess with a 40 degree chamfer. The base has flats for easy removal with an open ended wrench (15/16) which also has a 40 degree taper to match the OD of the barrel. This comp is pictured on a SASS-LRT .920" OD fluted barrel. But, that same taper can be cut to match your barrel's diameter for a smooth transition from barrel to comp. All smooth, no sharp edges. DuraCoated for a tough durable finish.
